A fully enclosed miniature feed unit for very small fasteners size 0 to 2-56.  Handheld or selffeed applications.

Compact fully enclosed feed unit for fastener up to 0.75 inches long.  Hardened tooling, polymer coated bowl and full enclosure are standard. Very quiet and compact for handheld or fixtured applications.

Designed or slightly larger fasteners up to 1.5 inches long, this enclosed feed unit is top loaded and may be used with an additional hopper. Valves, escapements and control are packaged in a steel enclosure with two Lexan access doors.

The feed unit is capable of fasteners up to 3/8” x 2 ½” long.  The bowl is coated for abrasion resistance and all the wear areas in the bowl are inserted with tool steel plates. The escapement and control are packaged in a steel enclosure with top access for loading. A 0.8 cubic foot hopper is available for extra capacity.

Bit stroke power slide, 20 Nm torque with 3.75 inches of stroke.

Bit stroke power slide, 20 Nm torque with 5.5 inches of stroke.

Head stroke and bit stroke power slide with 2 inches of head stroke plus bit stroke.

Head stroke and bit stroke power slide with 3 inches of head stroke.  Also available for twin spindle applications.

Heavy duty slide with cylinder brake for long head approaches and heavy tooling.  May be supplied with weldment.

This provides positive screw location and screw thrust on demand for maximum operator comfort.  Torque reaction is totally absorbed and down pressure is applied automatically to keep the bit engaged in the screw drive.

A larger version of the TRT-1 allows fasteners up to M8 to be driven with no torque reaction or down pressure.  Screw thrust on demand is standard.

This handpiece is compact and provides positive screw backup and thrust.  If necessary, it can be used without a torque arm.

Compression Handpiece

A telescopic handpiece is suitable for simple access applications and screw masks.  It is also used on pistol grip tools in woodworking or sheet metal applications.

- Rigid construction.

- Sealed bearings at each joint for smooth action and minimum deflection.

- Air cylinder/spring suspension for a zero gravity feel.

- Adjustments in each plane to ensure perpendicularity to the work surface.

- Optional swivel hand piece to keep the operator’s wrist straight.

- Optional remote start trigger for lever operated tools to keep the operator’s hand close to the process.

- Optional down-assist feature.  Great for thread forming fasteners and maintaining positive bit engagement.

- Optional encoders provide X – Y positioning for “Smart Workstations”.

TS-1 Tool Support

A swivel boom and counterbalance for use on low torque applications.  Not suitable for torque reaction.

TS-2 Tool Support

An overhead boom and arm for supporting tools with compression handpieces used with a counterbalance.  Not suitable for torque reaction.

Supplied to increase feeder storage capacity.  0.8 cubic foot with swivel base to clear the feed unit cover.  A bowl level and vibration control are included.

Offset Spindles

These allow close center/center distances on multi spindle applications.

Torque Transducers

Available to provide peak torque readings from pneumatic tools.

Provide multiple outlets from one feed unit for feeding up to 4 screwdriver heads (automated applications only).

Screw Presence Sensors

Screw sensors give an extended signal when a fastener passes through the feed tube.

Depth Sensors

Check for screw seating height.

Cycle Complete Sensors

Provide an electric signal from a pneumatic tool to show that the clutch has actuated.
